Terms & Conditions for NTUC Youth's 6-Month Waiver
1. Eligibility & Sign Up Gift
NTUC Youth’s 6-Month Waiver campaign (the “Campaign”) is open to individuals who, at the time of participation, are in Singapore and are between eighteen (18) and thirty-five (35) years old (the “Participants”). The Campaign provides eligible Participants with a six (6)-month NTUC membership fee waiver, subject to these Terms and Conditions.
The 6-Month Waiver will be awarded to eligible Participants who successfully complete the qualification requirements and pass NTUC’s verification checks based on NTUC’s membership records.
2. Campaign Period
The Campaign provides eligible Participants with a membership fee waiver equivalent to six (6) months of NTUC membership fees, subject to these Terms and Conditions. The campaign will run from 1 August 2026 to 31 October 2026, 11:59 PM (SGT) (the “Campaign Period”).
3. Qualification Requirements
To qualify, a Participant must:

complete and submit an NTUC membership application through the dedicated Campaign link during the Campaign Period:

have the membership application successfully approved and validated by NTUC;

make upfront payment (of $63) for the first six (6) months of NTUC membership from the membership join date; and
-
remain a valid NTUC member throughout the applicable qualifying paid membership period.
4. Waiver Application
Upon successful payment and completion of the first six (6) months of NTUC membership, eligible Participants will receive a waiver benefit equivalent to six (6) months of NTUC membership fees. The waiver will be active from the member’s seventh month of membership onwards and will be applied in accordance with NTUC’s billing and membership administration process, subject to successful verification by NTUC.
The waiver is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and not redeemable for cash or any other benefit.
NTUC may substitute, modify, suspend or withdraw the waiver benefit or amend the waiver process if required.
5. Verification

NTUC reserves the right to verify the validity of all membership applications, NTUC membership status, Campaign sign-ups, payment records, and any other information reasonably required to determine eligibility for this Campaign. Participants agree that NTUC may rely on its membership records and relevant records maintained by participating in NTUC entities for such verification.

If a Participant does not complete the required qualifying actions or fails NTUC’s verification checks, the Participant will not be entitled to the waiver’s benefit.
6. Eligibility of Waiver

If a Participant cancels their NTUC membership before completing the initial six (6)-month paid membership period, they will not be eligible for the waiver.

Without limiting the generality of the above, NTUC reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who is found or suspected to be creating duplicate accounts, misrepresenting eligibility, manipulating Campaign mechanics, abusing the Campaign structure, or otherwise acting in bad faith.

If any waiver or benefit has been granted due to inaccurate information, failed verification or misuse, NTUC reserves the right to withdraw, cancel or recover such benefit where permitted.
7. General Terms

NTUC reserves the right to verify the validity of all Campaign sign-ups, qualifying actions, membership records, payment records and any other information reasonably required before applying any Campaign benefit.

NTUC may amend, vary, supplement, withdraw or terminate this Campaign and/or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice, to the extent permitted by law.

NTUC reserves the right to reject, suspend or recover any Campaign benefit where it reasonably believes that inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information has been provided, fraudulent activity has occurred, or these Terms and Conditions have been breached.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that the contact details maintained in their NTUC membership records are accurate and up to date. NTUC shall not be responsible where Campaign-related communications cannot be delivered due to inaccurate or outdated contact information.

NTUC shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, system issue, technical error, failed transmission, app issue or other circumstance beyond its reasonable control that affects participation, verification or fulfilment.

NTUC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from participation in the Campaign or the use of any Campaign benefit, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Campaign, NTUC’s decision shall be final to the extent permitted by applicable law.

NTUC reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time or to suspend or terminate the Campaign at any time without prior notice or liability to any person.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore.
8.Personal Data

processing and verifying eligibility for the Campaign;
-
verifying NTUC membership status, membership application records and payment records;
-
determining entitlement to Campaign benefits;
-
contacting Participants regarding Campaign administration, eligibility verification, waiver fulfilment or any matters relating to the Campaign;
-
issuing and administering Campaign benefits; and
-
maintaining records for audit, dispute resolution, fraud prevention and compliance purposes.
Where necessary for the administration of this Campaign, NTUC may disclose relevant personal data to its affiliated entities, appointed service providers, merchants, technology vendors and fulfilment partners strictly for the purposes of eligibility verification, Campaign administration and waiver fulfilment.
